The 6th FemmeQ International Summit: Feminine Intelligence Shaping Our Future

We are pleased to be the main sponsor of FemmeQ’s 6th International Summit in Strasbourg, France. Together we will contribute to the global solidarity which is growing in momentum and numbers. We will hear from those in action, demonstrating how to respond to the challenges of our time. We will let go of beliefs that no longer serve us, take time in nature to reflect and integrate this new way of thinking and acting, nourish body, mind and spirit to build capacity and resilience, and resource ourselves with a new sense of possibility to powerfully go forward.

Flourish: Beyond Wellbeing six-week online programme

A six-week online programme to build a new kind of radical resilience

5.00-6.30pm BST every Tuesday evening from 31st August - 5th October 2021

The past 18 months have taken their toll on all of us. As we near the end of summer in the northern hemisphere, some may be returning from holidays or breaks feeling more restored, others challenged with the question of how to maintain their energy as we go into the colder months. Regardless of our circumstances we’re needing to find courage in the face of our vulnerability, be clear-headed amidst the uncertainty and standing tall to fulfil our purpose. For all of this, and more, we need radical resilience.

Join me to understand and embody the principles of flourishing by using all of our four intelligences - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

Rebel Wisdom Festival

Many of us have a sense that the old is dying, but the new is yet to be born. The institutions we’ve relied on to make sense of the world are unravelling at an ever faster rate, assaulted by new technologies and renewed tribalism. We now find ourselves in a 'post-truth' world that clouds our search for purpose and meaning. Join The Flourish Initiative Founder and CEO, Karen Downes at the Rebel Wisdom Festival in May 2020.

The Elephant Meets... Karen Downes, on the feminine intelligence we need to flourish

Next week's Zoom public discussion/forum, with members of the Alternative UK's next-system group The Elephant is with Karen Downes.

Karen has had a remarkable career, building a global business in essential oils before moving her attention and energy to the bigger challenge of the transformation of corporate culture. She has worked with major clients from Virgin to Coca-Cola, introducing the concept of a feminine intelligence as the route to a more humane connection with people and planet. Karen has also worked in global NGOs such as the Hunger Project in India and Africa to initiate new relationships between people and Aid.

Karen is currently a co-chair in Catalyst 2030, a network of global social entrepreneurs and philanthropists  - including The Alternative UK - that are collaborating to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals by the end of the decade.

Come and join us on Zoom to hear her visions for what will drive a better system, post-Covid, on Tuesday, 19 May 2020, 17:00 – 18:30 BST. Click the Eventbrite link here, or visit the Alternative UK website here.
