Building Resilient Business Communities
Unifying people to achieve great results
Harnessing collective intelligence to achieve extraordinary results.
Teams compete, communities co-operate. Teams select only the best talent, communities bring out the best in all. When facing an uncertain future people will seek out organisations that contribute not detract from what matters most to them, with leaders whose values they share. Historically we knew this is what sustained a community. In a networked and globalised world the shift from Team Building to Community Building ensures people acquire the resilience, co-operative skills and courage to face the unknown and ensure business prosperity for all.
“Never underestimate the power of a small dedicated group of people to change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” Margaret Mead
The Industrial Revolution model brought efficiency through a mechanised approach to production but destroyed the discretionary effort people bring when they are appreciated and cared for. The Technological Age brought connectivity but less meaningful connections. These models no longer serve us – if they ever did. What people are seeking in their lives and workplace is the fulfilment of the most basic human needs: meaningful connection, collaboration and the opportunity to contribute. We are relational beings born to be part of community.
From Team to Community
In our ‘From Team to Community’ programme we support leaders to expand their perspective and embrace the characteristics and skills of community: distributed leadership, cooperation, and peer-to-peer networks.

A deep sense of responsibility for your business is built on an equally deep sense of responsibility for your people.
The old notion of team building has been exhausted and is exhausting; play hard to win often means ‘at all costs’.
